Weekly Spotlight Winner for Week ending Friday, August 29, 2008

Our weekly Spotlight on Mobility Consultants, for week ending Friday, August 29th. Our winner recognized will receive a $50 Gift Card, a Spotlight Certificate and his name will be placed in the 3rd Quarter drawing, at the end of September, for a $200 Gift Card.

Today's Spotlight is focused on U.S. In-Home Mobility Consultant, Stephen. Steve and his wife, Diane, live in Ashville, New York and are the proud parents of 5 children.

He started his mobility consulting business with The Rascal Company in May of 2003, covering the Jamestown/Buffalo, New York and Erie, Pennsylvania marketplaces. Steve spends his free time with his family and working with disabled children in a group home in Jamestown, New York. He and his wife are very active in their church and are both also avid ham radio operators.

Steve credits his success to compassion and care for his customers, placing the customers' needs ahead of his. Director of Field Sales, Rocky, says that Steve also does an excellent job of networking and promotion, always seeking to put the Rascal product line on center stage, in front of as many people as possible, for maximum return.

He recently seized just such an opportunity by taking advantage of a last minute withdrawal of a vendor at the Erie County Fair and negotiated a very low price to fill the spot right by the front gate. Over a period of 10 days Steve sold and delivered, on the spot, 14 refurbished units and a Rack N Roll, helping his Region move its inventory and attaining $30,000 in business at a self-generated rate. He also raised his monthly bonus to the top 5% level and put himself within $27,000 of the Quarterly Sustained Performance Bonus, with 4 weeks in the quarter still left to sell. Plus, he cultivated 600 new leads along the way, many of whom have already called for appointments.

Todays Spotlight is focused on Canadian In-Home Mobility Consultant, Harry, in Burlington, Ontario. Harry graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He and his wife Sandra are the proud parents of two grown daughters, Catherine and Heather.

Harry joined The Rascal Company of Canada April 2nd of this year. Prior to joining The Rascal Canada Team, Harry spent 3 years as a Sales Manager with Francisco Services Company, selling retail point of sale terminals. Previously Harry was an Area Manager for 6 years with Metrowide Communications, Inc., a telecommunications company. Harry's sustained interest in computers and software keeps him working in his spare time on innovative ways to lift scooters into vans and automobiles. He plans on presenting those ideas to the company in the future.

Harry's philosophy on the sales process is to be flexible enough to adapt to every situation as he says, "you never know what you are going to run into." Harry describes Rascal products as "unique and designed with style" and says that "as a qualified engineer, I can really appreciate the products' quality, durability and easy-to-use take apart features."

Harry is obviously skilled at communicating his enthusiasm for the Rascal product line, making 18 sales in the last 6 weeks with an average sale of $3,258 and a total revenue attainment of $58,646.

Our weekly Spotlight on Mobility Consultants, for week ending Friday, August 15th. Our winner recognized will receive a $50 Gift Card, a Spotlight Certificate and his name will be placed in the 3rd Quarter drawing, at the end of September, for a $200 Gift Card.

Todays Spotlight is focused on U.S. In-Home Mobility Consultant, Richard. Rick and his wife Nancy live in Tidewater, Virginia and have two daughters, Bonnie, a senior at Virginia Tech and Blair, a high school junior. Rick began his mobility consulting business with The Rascal Company July of 2003 and worked for the Washington Post prior to that time where he enjoyed success in business-to-business sales. He is an avid collector of political memorabilia.

Barry, Rick's Regional Manager, says Ricks attitude is always positive with customers and his excitement in helping them attain new found freedom is contagious. Rick is always available to his customers and says that he treats his customers as he would his own grandparents.

Rick expressed excitement that The Rascal Company now has companion products to provide to his customers. He was one of the first Mobility Consultants to offer Response Links Safety Link emergency response system. And with the addition of Comfort Rise chairs and the referral of Acorn Stair Lifts, Rick feels he can give his customers more to choose from to further enhance their lifestyle. He makes sure all of his customers know the different ways he can help them.

Rick is a sustained top performer. He finished among the Quarterly Front Runners for 3 quarters last year, ranking #2, #3 and #18 for those quarters and ranked #14 among 2nd Quarter 2008 Front Runners.
This is Ricks second Spotlight, this time recognizing last weeks performance of an 80% close for 4 sales and 1 Medicare assignment.
